Esthetica Salon & Spa Named One Of Nation's Fastest-Growing Salons By Salon Today Magazine

Lincolnshire, IL (January 2009) - Northfield's Esthetica Salon & Spa owned by Julia Fanelli and Cece Yarabinee, recently was named one of the 200 fastest-growing salons in North America by Salon Today magazine. "Salon Today 200 features growing salons with excellent customer service, innovative marketing and top education for employees."

The scale of Esthetica is impressive. Fifty employees deployed throughout 8,000 square feet in The Plaza in Northfield serving 200 to 350 customers a day, according to co-owners Julia Fanelli and Cece Yarabinee.

Within that temple of beauty are procedures and products to improve practically every part of the body. Fanelli and Yarabinee said it took many of their 30 years of experience to reach this level of perfection. The path from three salons, one in Ventnor and another in Caesars Atlantic City, to this unified "dream salon" has not been without challenges and even tragedy.

Until 2000, Esthetica was the creation of Sam and Julia Fanelli. Weeks before the expanded Northfield location reopened, Sam Fanelli, 48 died. Julia Fanelli grieved and somehow persevered. She opened the new Esthetica just as she and Sam had planned and brought Yarabinee over from managing the Caesars spa to help. Perfect partners, by nature happy and fulfilled in their complementary roles of people person (Julia) and business person (Cece).

Esthetica is them, their personal expression. Fanelli and Yarabinee credit the salon and spa's success to their team of highly skilled technicians, friendly customer service staff and dedicated management team. Their services are book as much as a year in advance. Future plans at Esthetica include adding to the "medi-spa" services, the medical niche that currently includes twice monthly visits by a plastic surgeon to perform botox injections and other none invasive anti aging procedures.
